It's been such a busy day we're just now getting around to sharing the news from the Gypsy Gala event held last night to officially unveil the Gypsy, the handheld design studio for Cricut.

The gala was a great party comply with ice sculpture, good food, prizes and plenty of fun! We wish you all could have been there to share in the excietment and celebration and appreciate how many participated via Twitter and with discussion on the message boards. We are very excited to be debuting Gypsy at the CHA summer show in Orlando. The fact that there are two new cartridges pre-loaded and included with Gypsy makes this new personal design tool exciting according to the feedback we've received at the show. You can see a design built with Gypsy and a demonstration of its capabilities online at the Gypsy site.

Continue to watch for more information as we continue to update the Gypsy site. We look forward to hearing your feedback about Gypsy as you discover it.

We wanted to share this winning project with everybody. Congratulations to Amy M. on winning with this great Go Fish! game. What a creative use of the Cricut and it's sure to give hours of fun still to come.

Last week was so busy getting ready for the Craft and Hobby Association show (CHA). It has arrived and so much fun new stuff will be unveiled in Orlando this week. Be sure to listen for some tweets throughout the week and perhaps a post or two here.

But we didn't want to let another day go by without congratulating our latest winner in the Cricut Ticket giveaway. LuAnn from Iowa won a spot on the cruise when she found a Cricut Ticket in a Stand and Salute cartridge. She bought the cartridge so she could make something for her mother in honor of her brother who is in Afghanistan. Congratulations Luann!

Well, at least we're guessing she does or did have a class at one time. If Jenny Titus isn't currently teaching school she certainly could be keeping the attention of young people and inspiring them to be creative with her 1st Day of School wreath.

Jenny entered our Cricut Ticket contest being run through TodaysMama and won! It's not surprising though as her design was "A" grade to be certain. Now all of the Cricut Ticket cartridges will be heading Jenny's way. There is plenty of time for others to win even bigger though. The Cricut Ticket promotion is still running and with plenty of Stand and Salute, Simply Sweet, Jubilee and Home Decor cartridges at retailers you never know who will be the next big winner.

That's right. The first Cricut Ticket has been found. Because we have to go through the paperwork necessary for the winner to claim the prize we can't share too many details just yet but the ticket was found in the Eastern half of the US. More details will be coming in the next few days. I will say that the ticket was found in a Stand and Salute cartridge!
